KU grad, MBA student joins chamber staff

The Lawrence Chamber of Commerce has hired Ben Stallbaumer to assist with economic development efforts.

Stallbaumer is slated to help Beth Johnson, the chamber’s vice president for economic development, with business retention, expansion efforts and other projects.

Stallbaumer received a degree in applied behavior sciences at Kansas University, where he is pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree.

The chamber’s economic development program is financed by the city of Lawrence, Douglas County and the chamber.
