To the editor:

Bravo to Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, first lady now elected president. This is one of the few areas where the United States is lagging behind several other countries. Fernandez de Kirchner has just been elected and is the second lady to be president in Argentina. I think that it’s fantastic that other countries have elected women for presidents.

Since I am a girl, I find that, in most cases, guys think that they’re better and are more fit to have the top job. Maybe a more nurturing touch when it comes to important issues such as human rights could benefit us all, so that’s why the guys should step aside and let us ladies take a shot at having the job on top. After all, Fernandez de Kirchner is a perfect example of how we ladies can be nurturing, but we also aren’t weak when it comes to fighting for what we believe in.
