Thomas the Tank Engine will be entertaining Baldwin City during the next two weekends.

The Day Out with Thomas 2007: All Aboard Tour trains will depart every 45 minutes, between 9 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. Fridays and Sundays, and between 9 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. Saturdays.

A new feature this year will be an open-air car for the train, and activities include a moonwalk, live magician and treasure hunt. There will also be a photo opportunity with Sir Topham Hatt, and a Thomas and Friends Imagination Station.

"We're looking forward to another fun event," Tim DeMott, event organizer, said. "We are trying to change it up to keep it exciting for the repeat customers, yet make it always exciting for the first-time customers."

Tickets, which cost $16 for ages 2 and up, are available by calling toll-free (866) 468-7630 or going to www.Ticketweb.com.

The price is too ridiculously high. The train doesn't go that fast or that far to be exact. You can ride the Baldwin train for much less and still see the same sight. So that the big deal with riding a train that looks like a character and paying out your nose. I couldn't afford it. That would be $32.00 for me to take my 6 year old. Shame on you - greedy people.
