Resident reappointed to state committee
Erika Nilles Plumlee, Lawrence, was reappointed to the Kansas Advisory Group on Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention by Gov. Kathleen Sebelius.
The group helps develop the state juvenile justice plan and makes recommendations on juvenile justice grant applications. Each year more than $7 million is provided to communities for prevention and early intervention programs.
