Emprise Bank in Lawrence is planning ahead for a change in leadership.

Cynthia Yulich, the bank’s senior vice president of commercial lending in Lawrence, will become community bank president in early 2008, the Wichita-based banking company announced.

Yulich will take over for Dave Adams, who is retiring.

Yulich has been with Emprise Bank since 1991. With more than 25 years of banking experience, she has worked in loan operations, correspondent banking and various lending divisions.

She is finishing up her fourth year as a member of the Lawrence school board, and continues to serve as a member of the Plymouth Congregational Church Endowment Board and committees for Leadership Lawrence and the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce.

Emprise has 40 locations in Kansas, including two in Lawrence: 1121 Wakarusa Drive, and 2435 Iowa.
