Police arrested a 31-year-old Lawrence woman on Tuesday on charges of burglary, theft and criminal damage to property for a suspected burglary of a residence that occurred between Friday and Monday.

A 65-year-old Lawrence man had reported to police that someone broke three windows and took several items from his house near 23rd Street and Ousdahl Road.

According to the police report, the property reported stolen was valued at $8,950. It included 28 pistols and other items, such as keys to vehicles and storage units, a marriage license and a life insurance policy document.

Officers recovered some of the stolen items. The suspect and reported victim did know each other, according to the report.
