Designers earn green designations

Gould Evans, a Lawrence-based architecture and design firm, announces that all of its professional design associates have earned recognition as LEED Accredited Professionals.

The accreditation – LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design – demonstrates proficiency in an exam administered by the U.S. Green Building Council, an understanding of green building principles and practices, and familiarity with LEED requirements, resources and processes.

The LEED Green Building Rating System is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high-performance green buildings. For more information, visit www.usgbc.org.
