Victim of stabbing in fair condition
A 24-year-old man was stabbed several times about 2 a.m. Saturday on the 300 block of North Fifth Street.
Lalo Miller, who was listed in a police report as a transient, was reported to be in fair condition Saturday evening at Lawrence Memorial Hospital, where he was transported after the early-morning altercation.
Sgt. Mark Warren said that the victim appeared to be intoxicated and was uncooperative when police arrived at the scene shortly after 2 a.m.
He added that there was a suspect in the incident, but didn’t believe he had been arrested by Saturday afternoon.
