The Free State baseball home game vs. Shawnee Mission East was canceled Thursday because of wet field conditions. There’s a chance the Firebirds won’t be able to make up the home game because of the large number of rainouts this season. Thursday’s game hasn’t been rescheduled.

The Free State softball team was rained out of its away game Thursday at Shawnee Mission South. The makeup game will be played at 4:15 p.m. today at SM South.
