Olathe ? Free State High’s soccer squad dropped a 3-0 decision Tuesday night to Olathe East, the No. 1-ranked team in the state.

“We played hard and had some very positive moments,” Free State coach Jason Pendleton said, “but were punished when we made errors, and we were not quite capable of executing at key moments offensively.”

Olathe East improved to 10-0-1, and Free State fell to 5-6-2. The Firebirds will entertain Olathe North at 4 p.m. Thursday.
