Lori Myrick, a bereavement/ aftercare counselor for Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, recently completed 60 hours of training at the Center for Loss and Life Transition in Fort Collins, Colo.

The training focused on understanding and responding to complicated mourning and exploring the spiritual dimensions of death, grief and mourning.

Myrick is a registered nurse and a marriage and family therapist, and focuses on supporting, educating and working with people who have experienced the death of a significant person in their life and other life-transition losses.
