An informational meeting and reunion for people who were involved in the Appropriate Technology Center and Collective is set for 3 p.m. April 1 at the South Park Recreation Center, 1141 Mass.

The Appropriate Technology Center and Collective operated in Lawrence from 1979 to 1989 and promoted self-reliance in energy, food and health. The group’s projects included sustainable gardening, solar energy and energy conservation.

An audio-visual show will begin at 3:30 p.m. followed by a panel discussion of the center’s projects, with a potluck at 6 p.m. All who are interested in the center’s history and accomplishments are invited.
