Law enforcement report

¢ Police were called on a report on Wednesday that damage had been done to a vehicle on the 300 block of Woodlawn Drive. According to a police report, about $1,000 in damage had been done to a 1998 Ford Ranger.

¢ Lawrence police received a report that approximately $3,000 in damage had been done to a Dodge Stratus on Tuesday on the 600 block of Michigan Street.

¢ A garage door was damaged sometime on Tuesday on the 900 block of Essex Court. An estimated $1,000 in damage was done to the garage door.

¢ A Lawrence man was arrested in a traffic stop in the 400 block of McDonald Drive at 5:55 p.m. on March 17 when Lawrence police found a Lightning Rod Taser gun in his possession. He was also a suspect in a reported theft.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ An aggravated burglary was reported in Lawrence at 2 a.m. on March 17. A bicycle and a battery charger, worth a combined $1,350, was taken.

¢ A report of stolen currency was made at about 2:30 p.m. on Monday at the 1600 block of Lindenwood Drive. According to a police report, $4,080 of currency was taken.

¢ A 2000 Chevrolet Silverado was allegedly stolen sometime between 5:30 p.m. on March 16 and 7 p.m. on March 17 at the city parking garage on 1020 Vermont Street. The vehicle, which was left at the lot overnight, was valued at about $8,000.

Injury accidents

¢ A 22-year-old Lawrence man was taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital following an injury accident at about 11:40 p.m. on Tuesday at the 2500 block of Alabama Street. Linley Brandenburg was driving southbound on Alabama Street in a 1996 Ford F150 when the car drifted left of center and struck to other cars coming the other way.
