City commissioners will receive a report about plans to remove several trees along Maine Street to accommodate a new power line that will serve a Lawrence Memorial Hospital expansion.
Background
Westar Energy is seeking City Commission feedback on where to place the poles after neighbors in the area began expressing concern about the number of trees that might be lost.
