Kansas State Bank plans new building
Ottawa ? Kansas State Bank, Ottawa, announces plans for a new full-service main building to be constructed at 2045 S. Princeton St. in Ottawa. Plans call for the building to be about 9,000 square feet with three drive-through lanes.
Growth in the bank’s deposits and loans prompted the decision. A ground-breaking is set for April, and employees are expected to move into the building late this year.
The bank’s locations at 1314 S. Main St. and 236 N. Main St. will continue to operate as branch offices, as well as the bank in Baldwin City. The ATM at 236 N. Main St. also will remain. The ATM at the Princeton Street location will be moved and remain open during the construction.
Kansas State Bank is marking its 90th year in Ottawa and has about $100 million in assets.
