KU center offers ‘The Right Start’

Kansas University’s Small Business Development Center will present “The Right Start,” a seminar for startups, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday at the center, 734 Vt., suite 104.

The seminar will give prospective or new business owners an overview of licensing, permits, registration, taxes, accounting, business plan writing and financing.

Individual questions also will be addressed.

The seminar is free, and each attendee will receive a resources notebook – a $25 value – courtesy of program sponsor Central National Bank.
