Carpet cleaner attends meeting
Mike Brummett, Lawrence, recently attended a Society of Cleaning and Restoration Technicians’ board of directors meeting at the Carpet & Rug Institute in Dalton, Ga.
Brummett, president of Basic Carpet Care, also serves as president of the Missouri-Kansas chapter of the society, the largest international trade association serving carpet care professionals.
The meeting included a review of the Carpet and Rug Institute’s Seal of Approval program being included in warranties for several major carpet manufacturers.
Brummett and Basic Carpet Care have cleaned carpets since 1979 in the Lawrence area using many CRI-approved products.
