Weinaug receives 4 percent raise
Has been working for Douglas County 15 years
Douglas County Administrator Craig Weinaug received a 4 percent compensation increase today from Douglas County commissioners.
The increase goes into a deferred retirement fund in instead of being added to his regular salary. Commissioners said it was Weinaug’s choice to put the increase in the retirement fund.
Weinaug’s annual salary is $117,041.
Commissioners said they think Weinaug, who has been the administrator for 15 years, is doing a good job of guiding the county through the implementation of rural development and subdivision regulations as well as in working with the county’s city administrators.
