Free State High’s Andy Petz and John Wilson and Lawrence High’s Daniel Parker all earned first-team berths on the All-Sunflower League baseball team as chosen by league coaches.

Petz, a senior, was the all-league catcher while Wilson, a junior, tied with Shawnee Mission East’s Alex Stehl at third base. Parker, a senior, was the shortstop.

Lawrence High’s Nick DeBiasse and Free State’s E.J. Swanson earned second-team berths at first base and closer, respectively.

Six Firebirds earned honorable mention – pitchers Cody Lown and Caleb Gress, outfielders Adam Rock and Kyle Cross, second baseman Jordan Dreiling and first baseman Ben Wilson.
