Minuteman Press is ethics award finalist

Minuteman Press Inc., Lawrence, is a finalist for a Northeast Kansas Business Ethics Award, sponsored by the Northeast Kansas Society of Financial Service Professionals in recognition of companies that embody and demonstrate high standards of ethical behavior in their everyday business conduct.

Minuteman Press is among four companies nominated in the small business category, which covers operations with fewer than 250 employees. The other finalists all are from Topeka: Carter Realty Inc., Doug Richert Pontiac-Cadillac Inc. and Stearns Super Center.

Hill’s Pet Nutrition, Topeka, is the lone finalist in the large business category, which includes businesses with more than 2,500 employees.

Winners will be announced during the society’s annual meeting, set for 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 19 in the Kansas Room of the Memorial Union at Washburn University, Topeka.

Winners will be nominees for the annual Business Ethics Award, to be given in October by the National Society of Financial Service Professionals.
