C-Ho Farms joins Angus Association
C-Ho Farms Inc, Baldwin City, has joined the American Angus Association, a national breed registry organization based in St. Joseph, Mo.
The association, with more than 34,000 active adult and junior members, is the world’s largest beef cattle registry association, and its computerized records include detailed information on more than 14 million registered Angus cattle.
The association retains both ancestral information and production records on individual animals for its members. The records help members select and mate the best animals in their herds to produce high-quality, efficient breeding cattle for registration with the association.
Most registered Angus cattle are used by U.S. farmers and ranchers who raise beef for U.S. consumption.
