Miss Sedgwick County was crowned Miss Kansas in a ceremony Saturday night.

The winner was Alyssa George, 21, a Minneapolis, Kan., native who is a business major at Kansas University. She will go on to compete for the title of Miss America.

The first runner-up was Lindsay Hoover, 24, of Anthony, who competed as Miss Wooded Hills. The second runner-up Alexandra Miller, 17, of Derby, who competed as Miss Topeka.
