Lawrence appraiser reappointed to board

Tim Keller has been reappointed to the Kansas Real Estate Appraisal Board by Gov. Kathleen Sebelius. Keller, president of Keller & Associates Inc. in Lawrence, will serve his second three-year term on the board.

A certified general appraiser in Kansas and Missouri, Keller has been appraising property for 18 years. He founded Keller & Associates in 1996 and is past president of the Kansas City Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. He has a Bachelor of Science in business from Fort Hays State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.

The duties of the state appraisal board include approving and monitoring appraisal courses and reviewing applications for licenses and certification.
