Kansas junior Brandon Rush had successful surgery on his knee Friday afternoon, KU coach Bill Self indicated.

“The (right ACL) surgery couldn’t have gone any better; the doctors couldn’t be more pleased,” Self said. “He’s well on the road to recovery. Rehab will start immediately, not the most strenuous rehab.”

Rush is expected to be back on the court between four and six months.
