Trial date set for bomb threat suspect
A trial date has been scheduled for a Lawrence resident who is accused of using a cell phone to make bomb threats that mentioned Lawrence schools and a city hall in April.
Michael E. Parker’s trial is set for 9:30 a.m. Sept. 18 before District Judge Kathryn H. Vratil in U.S. District Court in Kansas City, Kan.
Parker faces two federal felony counts of using a cell phone to make criminal threats.
