Business and Professional Women of Kansas has scheduled a workshop to educate people about the group’s operations and goals.

The workshop is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday in the gallery at the Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vt.

The organization works to provide mentoring, give scholarships to women, teach communication skills and build friendships and contacts.
