Mike Hill is the new athletic director at Free State High School, officials announced today.

Hill also serves as assistant principal at Free State. He replaces longtime athletic director Steve Grant, who had been in the position since Free State's founding.

"I'm excited and honored to assume the responsibilities of athletic director," Hill said in a press release. "We have an outstanding program at Free State, resulting from the leadership of Steve Grant and the hard work and talents of our accomplished coaches and student athletes. I am eager to work on on their behalf so we may continue to offer our students the best extra-curricular experiences possible."
