Midland Care to offer pulmonary seminar

Health-care providers are invited to attend a workshop on understanding chronic pulmonary disease, offered by Midland Care Connection Inc. The seminar will run from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday at Midland’s campus, 200 S.W. Frazier Circle, Topeka.

The two-hour presentation will discuss causes, diagnosis and treatment of the disease, as well as sleep apnea and end-of-life pulmonary issues.

The presenter, Laura Ludlow, is a licensed physician assistant for Topeka Pulmonary and Sleep Associates. The Kansas State Board of Nursing has approved the course for two contact hours. Cost is $29. To make reservations, call Nicole Oliver at (800) 491-3691, Ext. 323.
