The cause of last week’s fire that resulted in $125,000 in damage to two Eudora homes is officially undetermined, according to Eudora Fire Chief Randy Ates.

But Ates said he strongly suspects fireworks sparked the fire.

The garage of the home on Locust Street, where the blaze is thought to have started, was destroyed, hampering the investigation. No one was hurt in the fire.
