Jim Whittaker has joined Pinnacle Career Institute, Lawrence, as coordinator for the personal trainer program.

Whittaker received a Master of Science in exercise physiology and a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Kansas University. He is certified as a personal trainer and a strength and conditioning specialist.

Pinnacle Career Institute, 1601 W. 23rd St., offers certificate programs for medical assistant, medical office assistant, business office administrator, massage therapist and personal trainer.
