Peoples Bank collecting funds for flood relief
In response to flooding and weather-related devastation in Miami County, Peoples Bank locations in northeast Kansas are collecting monetary donations to support relief efforts.
The bank, which will contribute $1,000, is collecting cash donations through July 27. The funds will be given to the American Red Cross.
People Bank has offices in Lawrence at 4831 W. Sixth St. and 2220 Harper St. The bank’s other locations in northeast Kansas are in Johnson, Franklin and Miami counties.
