Bartlett & West appoints new vice presidents

Doug Morrison and Jack Hennies, both of Lawrence, have been appointed to vice president with Bartlett & West, an engineering firm with area offices in Lawrence, Topeka, Manhattan and St. Joseph and Lee’s Summit, Mo.

Morrison is director of Bartlett & West’s GeoInfo Division, supervising geographic information production and delivery. He also oversees the firm’s technology resources to develop effective applications and new business opportunities.

Morrison has a Bachelor of Science in geography and biology from Northwest Missouri State University and is a member of the American Public Works Association.

Hennies is the firm’s director of marketing, overseeing efforts in advertising, public relations, trade shows and events, among others. He received a Master of Arts from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Missouri. He is a member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services and the International Association of Business Communicators.

Hennies writes articles and speaks from time to time to professional groups on marketing topics.

Bartlett & West, based in Topeka, has its Lawrence office at 628 Vt.
