Four Lawrence school members were sworn in Monday, and the board elected a new president and vice president.

Marlene Merrill, who is serving her first term, took her seat during the organizational meeting with Scott Morgan and Mary Loveland. Morgan and Loveland had served on the board previously but lost their seats in 2003.

They were elected again to the board in April, as was Rich Minder, who’s now serving his second consecutive term.

The board unanimously elected Linda Robinson to serve as president for the coming year. Craig Grant is the new board vice president.
