Doug Nations, general manager for Runza Restaurant in Lawrence, received a Manager of the Year Award during the company’s annual meeting in Lincoln, Neb.

Nations earned the award for stores in the middle sales volume category. The award is presented to Runza managers who operate a clean and organized store, and serve as a motivational force for store employees, thus maintaining a low personnel turnover and recruiting future management candidates.

In winning the award, Nations receives an all-expenses-paid trip for two to Mexico.
