Credit due
To the editor:
Bill Getz (letter, Jan. 25) attributes “Because that’s where the money is” (reason for robbing banks) to Pretty Boy Floyd. That line is usually attributed to Willie Sutton. According to the Yale Book of Quotations, Mr. Sutton denied saying it, giving credit for the bon mot to a creative reporter.
