The Jayhawk Area Agency on Aging Inc. has received a $20,000 grant from Sunflower Foundation: Healthcare for Kansans.

The money will be used to pay for a new telephone system for the agency.

The Jayhawk Area Agency on Aging is an advocate for aging issues and offers programs to aid seniors in Shawnee, Douglas and Jefferson counties.

The philanthropic Sunflower Foundation aims to improve health for Kansans.
