Students to perform play about shooting
Older children and adults are invited to a free performance tonight of “Bang, Bang You’re Dead!” – a play that delves into the subject of school shootings.
The play, sponsored by the Lawrence Arts Center and GaDuGi SafeCenter, will be at 6 p.m. at Central Junior High School, 1400 Mass.
The one-act play by William Mastrosimone is about the aftermath of a high school student who goes on a rampage and kills five classmates.
The play, with a cast consisting of local high school students, was produced by the Lawrence Arts Center.
