Channels unavailable at start of KU game
An equipment failure on Wednesday night caused many Sunflower Broadband customers to miss a portion of the Kansas University men’s basketball game against Baylor.
Joe Ryan, assistant general manager for Sunflower Broadband, said the problem was a failed circuit board. It caused channels 2 through 20 to be unavailable for an unknown number of subscribers for roughly 15 minutes.
Sunflower Broadband is owned by The World Company, which also owns the Journal-World.
