Leak causes evacuation of downtown businesses
10th and Mass affected
A water leak caused the evacuation of residents and workers in two downtown Lawrence buildings this morning.
The flood affected buildings at 10th and Massachusetts streets, which hold apartments over Qdoba, Mobile Communications and The Jackpot.
Fire crews were called to the scene around 10:30 this morning, where they worked to repair the leak and remove the excess water.
