Chamber names new board members
The Lawrence Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors has nine new members for 2007.
The new board members began their terms Jan. 1:
¢ Gary Bennett, general manager of Laird Noller Automotive Inc. in Lawrence.
¢ Derek Felch, chairman of the Lawrence Convention & Visitors Bureau.
¢ Bobbie Flory, executive director of the Lawrence Home Builders Association.
¢ Matt Hoy, an attorney with Stevens & Brand.
¢ Dan Hughes, an owner of Sunflower Outdoor and Bike Shop.
¢ Barry Landon, manager for Schlumberger in Lawrence.
¢ David Livingood, an architect with GLPM Architects, Inc.
¢ Larissa Long, external affairs manager for Aquila in Lawrence.
¢ Kathy Pryor, associate director for the Department of Theatre & Film at Kansas University.
The board’s executive officers for 2007 are Joan Golden, chair; Pat Flavin, immediate past chairman; Jim Otten, chairman-elect; and Bonnie Lowe, treasurer.
