Overland Park ? The Free State High boys swimming team won a quad at Blue Valley High on Tuesday.

Mitch Moore led the way with two first-place finishes in individual events, winning the 200-meter individual medlay and 100 butterfly.

Julian Spangler (200 free style), Chase Torgerson (100 free) and Cameron Case (100 breast stroke) also won their events and qualified for state.

It was a fun, exciting meet. It was meters, so it was longer,” Free State coach Annette McDonald said of the pool. “We’re still working hard, but the guys swam really well and dove really well.”
