KU to extend hours for selected offices
Some Kansas University offices will be open for extended hours Tuesday through Friday to accommodate new and returning students during the first week of the semester.
Offices will be staffed from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on those four days, except on Friday afternoon, when offices will close at 5 p.m. Normal hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The following offices will be open for the extended hours: Academic Achievement and Access Center, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences/Student Academic Services, Department of Student Housing, Freshman-Sophomore Advising Center, New Student Orientation, Office of Admissions and Scholarships, Office of Multicultural Affairs, Office of Student Financial Aid, Office of the University Registrar/Student Records Center, Office of the Vice Provost for Student Success, Parking and Transit, and the Student Involvement and Leadership Center.
These services also have extended hours: Campus phone operators, automated directory assistance available 24 hours a day; Computing Help Desk, 7:30 a.m.-10 p.m.; and KU Card Center, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
