Prospective and new business owners are invited to take part in a free, interactive group-counseling session Tuesday at the Kansas University Small Business Development Center.

The seminar, billed as The Right Start, is designed to give participants the business tools necessary to start a company, and to instruct such people how to avoid common mistakes. Individual questions and concerns also will be addressed.

The seminar is set for noon to 1 p.m. at the center, 734 Vt.

While the session is free, an optional small business resources notebook is available and may be purchased for $20.
