Get U.S. out

To the editor:

I fail to see how the newest plan put forth by President Bush differs from the others.

We are in the middle of a civil war in Iraq. We cannot “win” Iraq’s civil war. We cannot continue to expect people in other parts of the world to think as we do, and when they don’t, ram it down their throats.

If more pressure is applied in one region of Iraq, the people who want us out will move to another part of the country and continue their fight. They’re not going away.

As far as fighting them here, I believe both attacks on the World Trade Center occurred before we went to war with Iraq.

I call upon the Democratic leaders to remember why they were voted in. Bring our troops home.
