Eudora resident David Redlin, of Progressive Environmental & Safety Consulting Services, Overland Park, is a finalist for Safety Professional of the Year by the National Association of Home Builders.

The company conducts a variety of regulatory, environmental and other audits and assessments for businesses and projects, and also provides training for employees and managers in complying with local, state and federal regulations. Progressive also helps formulate legal defenses for clients, if necessary.

Among Redlin’s clients in the area is Lawrence-based First Management Inc., for which he serves as safety director.
