Baldwin, Lecompton candidates file to run
Candidates filed Friday to run for Lecompton mayor and two positions on the Baldwin City school district’s board of education.
Signing up for a new term as Lecompton mayor was incumbent Roy Paslay, who was elected in 2004.
Seeking re-election to the Baldwin City school board are Scott Lauridsen for position 2 and Alison Bauer for position 1.
The filing deadline for city and school board positions in Douglas County is noon Jan. 23. The primary election, if needed, will be Feb. 27, and the general election will be April 3.
