The Lawrence Lions Club is sponsoring a music show this month as part of a fundraiser for Lawrence Habitat for Humanity.

The show will be at 7 p.m. Jan. 13 in the Central Junior High School auditorium, 1400 Mass. It will feature the Braschler Family Music Show from Branson, Mo. The family has appeared in Branson for 20 years, performing country, bluegrass and gospel music with its own brand of comedy.

The local and area Lions Clubs are working to sponsor a home for a family. Tickets are $18 at the door or $16 in advance. To purchase tickets call 843-1621 or 841-5280.

The club is nearing its goal of raising $11,500 from 58 Lions Clubs in its northeastern Kansas district. The amount will be matched by Lions Club International.
