Ottawa University will host a Teacher Education Day from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Feb. 1.

The event is geared toward high school or current college students interested in pursuing careers in education. The event is open to Future Educators of America club members and chapter advisers and educators wanting to learn more about Ottawa University.

This free event’s purpose is to encourage students to consider education as a major and career.
