Oral history project scheduled at KU
A workshop next month at Kansas University will delve into the topic of oral histories.
“Oral History at Work – The View From Within,” will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 26 at the Kansas Union Ballroom. The workshop is open to the public.
Registration deadline is March 12.
The event includes a discussion with Carol Ann Carter, KU professor of art, anthropologist Tobias Hecht, author of books including the novel “After Life,” and filmmaker Byron Hurt, creator of the award-winning documentary “Beyond Beats and Rhymes: Masculinity and Hip-Hop Culture.”
