March aims to raise money, awareness
The fifth annual March for Meals 5K walk, sponsored by Douglas County Senior Services, is scheduled for Saturday.
The walk is a fundraiser for the Senior Meals program and is designed to raise awareness about the need for volunteers for the program. Starting at 8:30 a.m. at the Lawrence Senior Center, 745 Vt., the walk will go through downtown Lawrence.
